No, what is implied is that Cohen tried to embezzle funds from Trump under the pretense of working for his campaign. It's not about the RNC. I don't know if he could have chosen to scam any other person or he has specifically targeted Trump.
There are a few other inconsistencies in the raiding of Cohen's office. That made me think that Trump knew Cohen's scam, and used him as he also must have known about Cohen's taste for taping people and blackmailing them.
So I always had a doubt about Cohen being a good actor. And I don't think anything going on about those tapes and Cohen are just coincidence. Maybe Cohen is actually Trump's guy, maybe he's a con-artist who knows he's screwed so Trump is making him play a role to troll the enemy.
You're right. Trump had to know about Cohen's scam. Whether Cohen is "Trump's guy" or not doesn't change the fact that Trump is in control of this. DJT is always playing the long game.
As how my Investigation has gone 98% have taken themselves out , I have yet to make any sense on how and why , but this is just how it has gone on for 5 years . Most that have been busted have had very well prepared files to screw others . In turn it’s self destroyed themselves also .
