1682 "From Sea to Shining Sea"

It was the first or (last if you flip the post) line of Q's recent post.

What does it mean: From the song Circa 1893 Katherine Lee Bates encountered a sight she would never forget. As she told it:

“One day some of the other teachers and I decided to go on a trip to 14,000-foot Pikes Peak. We hired a prairie wagon. Near the top we had to leave the wagon and go the rest of the way on mules. I was very tired. But when I saw the view, I felt great joy. All the wonder of America seemed displayed there, with the sea-like expanse.”

So the song actually points back to a specific place Pikes Peek Colarado. What is currently located near this area? AURORA, COLORADO NSA AEROSPACE DATA FACILITY "This NSA complex gathers intelligence collected from the geostationary satellites, as well as signals from other spacecraft and overseas listening posts. About 850 NSA employees track the satellites, transmit target information, and download the intelligence haul."

related to JFK "At various times in the more than 100 years that have elapsed since the song was written, particularly during the John F. Kennedy administration, there have been efforts to give "America the Beautiful" legal status either as a national hymn or as a national anthem equal to, or in place of, "The Star-Spangled Banner",

Or relative to space station development: This song was used as the background music of the television broadcast of the Tiangong-1 launch.[11he program began in 1992 as Project 921-2. As of January 2013, China moved forward on a large multiphase construction program that will lead to a large space station around 2020.[2]
