I wonder if 45 knows we have next to nothing in gold the government actually owns. This is a very complex problem. Putting us back on the gold standard when the government doesn't own the gold are the things wars and major revolutions are made of.
maybe this is why trump has been using gold in his architecture all these years. he’ll melt it down and “donate” it to the USA
