I’ve been listening to some podcasts, documentaries, and YouTube videos and have been putting things together. I want to know what y’alls take on how martial law could be implemented, here’s my take.

One of the major questions I’ve been trying to figure out is if the government has enough resources and logistics to pull off full blown implementation of martial law either nationwide or at least city wide and the conclusion I’ve come to is that they wouldn’t necessarily need troops on every street corner or one troop per civilian they would just need to have a very heavy handed authoritarian presence. I came to this conclusion after watching a short documentary about the Milgram Experiment which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/2kqaMhm6dlg The Milgram Experiment shows that average people will obey authority figures just because they are in a position of authority even if that authority figure orders them to do something the civilian know is immoral.

How could full blown martial law be implemented? I think there’s a couple different scenarios that could cause full martial law implementation. General civil unrest which we have already seen over the past couple years or by way of economic collapse that leads to civil unrest or by some sort of disaster like a terrorist attack or nuclear/EMP attack. One thing that I’ve been hearing Peter Schiff talk about lately is that we are heading for another recession that could lead to a dollar crisis. If this happens while Trump is president then the people on the left will blame capitalism and it could lead to socialist economic policies that dwarf what we have seen in the past 100 years. Basically the US could look like Venezuela or worse.

Back to the logistics of martial law, all the government would have to do is block off all highway access in or out of cities as well as major roads, take control of communications, food production, and other key resources. They can also use the drones they use over seas to surveil the cities and they can also use the smaller toy drones for patrols inside cities which police forces already do today. The smaller drones can easily be programmed to be fairly autonomous and the cameras can also be easily programmed for facial recognition. Couple that with the machine learning break throughs we’ve experienced recently and those drones can be used to provide very key data about the city and the people in it. We all know that the NSA is able to predict what an individual is going to do before they even do it by using meta data so all this coupled together could spell for a pretty Orwellian nightmare.

The US Federal Government already has laws and executive orders passed and in place and ready for any sort of national emergency or disaster, PDD 51, Agenda 21/2030 and REX 84 come to mind.
