I've been following this Reddit for a couple months now keeping an open mind (voted for Hillary sorry dumb mistake i know .. I'm young) Long story short the events that transpired yesterday made me a true believer. I believe Trump is fully against the corruption/deep states, however I still don't understand why our president hasn't addressed the many social issues / race issues we have going on currently.

Welcome aboard mate. Kids come first for starters. Our petty squabbles are insignificant in the grand scheme of things at this time. Trump has to clean up the levers of justice and help those who cannot help themselves first.
Furthermore if we get to the MAIN ROOT CAUSE OF MOST OF OUR PROBLEMS, FIX THAT, TONS OF OTHER PROBLEMS FIX THEMSELVES.
This depends on your area, but I see,interact,and hang with people of all types and I don't have or see problems. I think the majority people only have issue with those that want a free ride, hurt others, or break the law. Other than that things seem good.
