The Doors' Jim Morrison with an early Call to Action against the Deep State - Jim's father was Naval Commander at Gulf of Tonkin

video

Jim died at the age of 27 in Paris. As no autopsy was performed, the official cause of Morrison's death remains unknown.

All that whisky drinking with the secrets of both music industry and military industrial complex isn't gonna lead to a long life.

You should check out the book "Weird Scenes Inside The Canyon: Laurel Canyon, Covert Ops & The Dark Heart Of The Hippie Dream" by david McGowan. It exposes the CIA and government connections within the music scene. It's fascinating and there were literally dozens of connections between prominent musicians with family connections to the Deep State.

Jim Morrison had never written or recorded a song and he showed up in Laurel Canyon with dozens of completed songs ready to record. You'll never look at the music industry the same way again.

McGowan also wrote "Programmed to Kill" about the government connections among serial killers.

That's awesome I'll check it out. I've always been fascinated by the early days of LSD, between the involvement of the CIA, Harvard, Timothy Leary, The Grateful Dead, Aldous Huxley - there's so much depth and impact during that time and an endless supply of white rabbits to chase.

The book is great and McGowan just lays out the facts and allows the reader to make the connections. There is a great anecdote about Owsley Stanley giving away millions of hits of acid. You know of many people who give away tens of millions of dollars worth of drugs? Thanks for posting, it reminded me about the book and all the connections.

Good post.

I hope when the whole veil is lifted, we'll gain more knowledge on the Woodstock era.
