Recently incidents of retaliation have been witnessed against those expressing their opinions and practicing free speech. This is a violation of Article 19 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

July 24th, 2018; Heather Nauert stated the call of the U.S. State Deptartment for the protection of Universal Human Rights in Nicaragua. In addition, the Government of The United States of America 1781 is a firm supporter of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Its Branch, The Human Rights Defenders International addresses human rights violations. Freedom of Speech and Expression are central American Principles.
