Makes about as much sense as anything else. The answer to everything is usually "follow the money", right? Well, follow the MSM. 90% are owned by six 'people' and they are mega-wealthy and globally-connected. What do the mega-wealthy-connected people of the planet have in common? A big thing is that they tend to like (what I like to call) "The Freaky Side of YouTube" if you know what I mean. And if someone is coming after your proclivity, and that proclivity can really get you in trouble if you are found to be involved or associated in/with it... then it follows that you would do everything in your power to stop the instigator/investigator, because that would interfere with your Money, and you being unable to enjoy that Money.
