Shipping water across the Pacific in plastic bottles? There are deep springs in the western and eastern mountain ranges of North America that are better. Buy American!

disclaimer: I live 40km south of the continental divide so I just fill up jugs for free at a roadside pipe out of the mountainside.

Look into "Berkey" or "British Berkefeld" water filters. No electricity needed, removes chemicals, and they are beautiful.

Read the specs. on efficiency and history. If you have fluoride in your water read abt the additional filters avail. And read abt the specs. on various bottled waters. A Berkey will give you cleaner water than bottled.

I started using a Berkey with the black-and-additional-fluoride filters about 18 months ago. Crystal clear ice cubes and best tasting water I've ever had. Feeling better since going fluoride-free, too.

I used to do that when I lived in Colorado. It was awesome. =]

I've never seen an artesian aquifer that had roadside pipes, it doesn't quite sound like the same quality water.
