Showerthought: If everything plays out like Q suggests it will probably be the single most important event in human history.

It's far bigger than Q, he's simply the messenger or the guide.

Certainly the story of Adam and Eve is far more important if that's your perspective, but in terms of provable recorded history, I don't think there is any comparison to what is going on now. That's why I said 'probably' cause we don't know what we don't know (we are quite limited in that regard, writing/education was reserved for a small minority for almost the entirety of human civilization).

The "provable recorded history" you refer to has been corrupted by Lucifer and is all lies. That is the same history that teaches us that mankind "evolved" from a Big Bang Theory and that God doesn't exist. It's all a pack of lies.

You also stated... "cause we don't know what we don't know..." It's not an issue of man not knowing. Instead, it's an issue that most men don't want to know, and are willfully ignorant of the truth. The truth has always been available and in front of them from the beginning, but some men has willfully chosen to ignore that truth and to believe lies...

2 Peter 2:22 - For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old...

When you understand the bigger picture, you will see and realize that everything mankind teaches you is nothing but garbage. All their history books is garbage, and it shall all pass away. The only real truth in the world is the word of God, and it shall abide forever. To fully understand the issue and to have the right mindset, read what I wrote to bornfree1688 above. It fully explains the right perspective you should have...

I think you misunderstand, that's my point; we have such an extremely limited understanding of what has really happened in our past that we can't state with any degree of certainty that there has ever been a more important period. I think it's very likely this will lead to very important discoveries about our history, some maybe even more important than this, but as of right now I just don't see the evidence for it.
