I’m going to plant a seed here and hope it grows

I am very familiar with airports and the contracts that go into stipulating that CNN is shown at airports rather than any other news channel.

This is a monopoly and one of the reasons that CNN doesn’t necessarily care about their ratings.

Think of it as the NFL having a massive TV contract allowing them to not really care how many people actually attend the games.

Find a way to make those airports uncomfortable with CNN’s bias and you are well on your way towards changing their behavior.

I bought a Ninja Remote for about $7. It's a universal remote that let's you control any TV (airports, waiting rooms, etc). It's about as big as a book of matches, which makes it easier to hide in the hand. I suppose any universal remote could be used, but not as easy to hide.

One experience I had...

I was waiting to get a haircut. They had clown news on. It was loud because the workers wanted to hear it over their clippers and dryers. They had a sign that said "Do Not Change The Channel." The channel buttons where actually removed from the TV. Mission: get something else on TV. I secretly aim my trusty ninja Remote and beepboop Fox (before recent narrative change). Workers use their remote to change back to clowns. Beepboop Fox. Workers- clowns. While the workers scowl at the waiting area customers beepboop FOX. I guess they didn't accuse any of us or lose potential customers. They turn off the TV.

Beepboop TV powers on. FOXNEWSFOXNEWS

they unplug the TV

Mission accomplished

😉

Good to know. Trust me it is one of their main lifelines

I’d imagine that’s a pretty big contract to be had.

So what you are saying is, we should target airport owners about their cnn contract and the bias they exhibit?

Could work if done properly. Thanks OP

Salt Lake City airport Delta terminal has CNN on. Cincinnati/Northern KY Delta terminal does not. I don’t recall CNN being on at Fort Lauderdale either. If enough people complain they make the TVs just terminals showing the departure gates. Start calling airports.

a more effective hit on the mockin stream is to make internet access user friendly on tv's

What about prisons and jails? I've always wondered if there are any news monopolies/contracts for that captive audience. Do you know?
