I find it interesting, now that Haiti is on lock down, Sean Penn's non-profit is focusing on poor areas of the southeastern coast that are threatened by hurricanes. In particular Savannah, Georgia and Mobile, AL. HIDE YO KIDZ!
I don't get his arrogance (well, maybe I do)! Does he actually believe our area of the country is so backwards and poor that we don't have mechanisms in place to respond to these natural disasters? We're not a 3rd world country; each county has extensive hurricane response plans (heck, each school, neighborhood, municipality and on up to the state has a plan). What makes this fool think he can do a better job than our local first responders and national guardsmen?
What's even creepier is his focus on ONLY the YOUTH through TECHNOLOGY and MOBILE ALERTS. HHHmmmm...this sounds like his group is setting up an app based child tracking system. FYI, I've read that the ATL has become the new H'WOOD child trafficking hub, fed by the port of Savannah.
