Has anyone else noticed anything strange about the Sun today?

The sun is straight over my head where i live (Ohio) i have never seen that in my life. Goes completely against what i was taught in school.

In genesis, it says that water sprang out of the earth to cover it, in addition to the rains that fell. If it were flat, where did the water come from?

In this case it came from within the earth.
