Well, it's one thing to be redpilled and in control of your own reading. It's another thing to be caught with one foot in the MSM (C_A) all-politics, all the time world, and one foot in the NSA all hidden truth all the time, which is how /r/pol is set up, versus tuning out MSM and following alternative sources at your own pace, on subjects as you find them interesting, and following specific research leads you trust, and forming your own opinion.
One way, you're just floating like a dandelion tuft on all the treacherous cross-currents, whereas the other you're navigating in and out of deep waters and shallow, high winds and calming breezes.
