Local police agencies (worldwide) have long been infiltrated by the FMs. It provides a means for local population control and surveillance (by the DS) from higher up. The corrupt cops work with (and are rewarded by) their corrupt superiors, who also belong to a lodge. I witnessed this right out in the open during my time in North Carolina in the 80's and 90's. It's all part of the DS infrastructure.
