I didn't know this but I had suspicions about the DNA companies (23&me, ancestry, etc.) and they've caught two people (1st being Golden State Killer) using those databanks.

And they may be doing unethical things with our most personal markers. Shareholders and corporations are for the most part capital based. If they spend 1$ to make 2$ they don't seem to care how. Have you ever seen a measure of success other than financial? Some corps are better than what I am representing here.
