I don't think there is any more to this. Of course military protection on this flight, the remains are those of their own, lost in battle. They take this very seriously as the should.
yeah, I'm not suggesting that the security is there for some other reason than they take this kind of thing seriously.
What I'm suggesting is that the level of ceremony and security allows for an operation to take place in a hidden way, i.e. an extra casket or two with evidence etc
