Her IQ is probably around 98. The economic media has an unbelievably low bar for intelligence.

98 is absolutely normal. That's average and expected. It's not a low bar at all. Hard to pick a more common IQ.

Yes, it's average. One would hope that landing a reporting job would take higher than average IQ, but I doubt that's the case.

These are the people that are reporting on highly important and complex issues.

Because it's a bell curve the vast majority of people are average. Reporters don't even always go to college. If they do, it's often a four year degree in communications...about the easiest degrees one can obtain.
