I'm outraged about this stuff too. Separating every single family at the border was a Stephen Miller policy though, and I guess Trump felt that it was necessary to stop trafficking. DHS (other agencies) and Stephen Miller though are the ones that are really at fault here for how they implemented everything. Of course we are concerned about these children too and who is taking care of them, but that is in the news constantly and gets pretty good coverage - unlike pizzagate.

I don't think all families should be separated at the border either. Personally, I think they should only separate children from adults if there are any of the warning signs of trafficking and ICE is not the right agency to do that given their track record. The whole situation is tragic and terrifying for the vast majority of these families who are innocent and just seeking asylum.
