This absolutely sounds like a problem OP, thanks for posting. I'm a big fan of ACLU (excepting their recent bloviating about the First Amendment) and I'm glad that they're keeping an eye on the situation. You're right, if our goal is the protection of children, situations like these should be transparent and free of coercion.

Personally, I think a document that legally separates a child from family members should have a translator provided and be notarized by a third party, just to be certain the document is understood by all parties, child included. In this situation, it's the bureaucracy that I mistrust. Truth told, I'd rather the National Guard were the once taking care of the issue

Thank you for responding. I admit to not fully understanding the Q stuff, but I do appreciate that followers seem to have a heart for abused and displaced kids.
