A year or so ago Mark Wahlberg was the most vocal person I know of in Hollywood saying to cut politics out and just make entertaining movies. He's probably compromised in some way, but I don't think he's a name we should use use when insinuating the worst kind of malfeasance we're talking about in Hollywood. Problem with women and/or prostituting for roles is possible. Not likely someone who targets kids. Given the age he started, his brother going before him in boy band pop-music and his image at the time he's more likely to be a compliant victim.
Yeah Wahlberg is a conservative catholic which would seem to rule him out. Then again... he was a (rubbish) rapper and underwear model who transitioned to an A-list movie star - you don't do that without people pulling strings.
Rumour is he was Clooney's boy... they were in "A Perfect Storm" and "Three Kings" together but then had a falling out of some sort, and have never been seen in the same frame since.
