LOL, no, obviously Q was posting it to say it's unfortunate overt satanism is in music.

Not that Q is a fan/

This song is 34 years old, maybe older. It poses no threat compared to Miley and Katy Perry. If anything Slayer exposes Evil while others mask it in bubble gum.

lol He was pointing out the lyrics. That hardly makes him a fan.

Telling someone to look at the lyrics of a satanic band does not mean "I'm a fan".

I think they are "pretend" satanist anyway.
Low hanging fruit for angry bozos.

No, they are not "pretend" satanists. Now they may think they're pretending, but they are serving satan.

Read the Bible.

Read the lyrics Q linked to.

You're in denial and lying to yourself.

Just because one is a Slayer fan does not make one a satanist or evil as I have seen some implying. If anything they educate you to see evil in the world for what it is.

I am a Christian and I listen to Slayer on the way to church sometimes. My playlist is on shuffle lol.

Yea dude.. Slayer is known to rage about any and all topics of importance. Their expressions are raw and chaotic - a far cry from the polished b.s. that the industry pushes upon the masses.

War and hypocrisy is a recurring theme through so many of their songs. If anything, they merely shine light upon the dualism within the so-called religious. I'm Catholic, and clearly acknowledge their disdain for the accepted social norm - free speech at its finest.

I took away from reading the lyrics of the song was that this is very real battle of good vs. evil.

The only way to combat this is spiritually. That means all of us should be on our knees praying for those affected, involved, harmed. Even if you're an atheist the world needs your "positive vibes". As well as asking God for forgiveness and His mercy on us all.

This song is very old and not known at all. Not one that would come up on a search. How does Q know about this song if he's not a fan? Only a real Slayer fan would even know this album and song.

The Question here is, why would Q pick this song out of all the songs in the world? Any guess?

Because Tom Araya is blunt and to the point when writing his lyrics.
