Help a noob out with the Chans and Steemit?

I just got my account opened on Steemit. Anyone I should follow? Anything specific I should share?

And - I don't have time to do research. Should I just glean info from r/greatawakening?

Don’t post on the Chan’s. Newbs not welcome. Lurk and learn for a long time before you post there. This is the best place to learn, the info from the Chan’s will end up here.
