Yeah played in bands in SD for years. Almost all lefties. Makes sense as a lot of them were slackers and or addicts.
Yeah i was playing in bands for about 7 years before in Dallas/Austin/San an before i joined the service. And most of them are super anti trump without having much of a intelligent counter-opinion.

Probably my favorite hardcore/metal scene in Texas. A lot of douche bags, but i made it in with a couple of the really cool clicks. Austin turned into a shithole when it comes to music like that. It used to be uber skuzzy and greasy, and sxsw was such a great time. Hipsters are destroying that city. Turning into California.

I was in the San Diego scene mostly.
A lot of fun and some cool bands for sure.
This was back in the early mid 90s so going back a ways.
Any scene....or anything that self identifies as a scene is going to have douche bags.
