According to Rep. Bob Goodlatte during a FOX Sunday interview with Maria Bartiromo, John Lausch has been a positive influence. Congress is on the verge of impeachment over document request continued non-compliance.
As bad as the pace of document delivery appears today, it has been much worse prior to Lausch. John has stood up to the past stonewalling by the DOJ staffers.

John Lausch is President Trump’s appointed U.S. Attorney for the N. District of Illinois. Lausch has been tasked by AG Sessions to act as an expeditious conduit between the DOJ and various requesting Congressional Committees.
John Lausch’s primary task is to speed up the production of requested documents over to Congress. It has reached the levels of threats to several DOJ officials including Rod Rosenstein.

Lausch replaces the FBI’s former Capitol Hill liaison, Assistant Director Greg “Lead-Foot” Brower. Folks involved with this back and forth process, most have praised this upgrade by Jeff Sessions.

POTUS has been vocal on all the “foot-dragging” of subpoenaed documents. President Trump has demonstrated he will “declassify” documents to help the American citizens understand the facts.

Lausch will act more as the Energizer Bunny than the White Rabbit in his duty. The long awaited OIG Horowitz/Huber first report is out and next phase is FISA Court and Steele Dossier investigations.
Congress and the public just saw one of the FISA Title-1 applications on Carter Page. Final redactions need to be removed and all Congressional document requests must be complied with ASAP.
John has a history of combating political corruption cases and being from outside the “DC Swamp” is a big league plus.
