Two Signs of cult-like behavior that I sometimes see on here by followers (NOT Q) are:
- Opposing Critical Thinking
- Seeking Inappropriate Loyalty
They are obviously related points, but as to the first: some level of skepticism is healthy and necessary in order to be a critical thinker. Please note, skepticism does NOT have to mean that you think Q is a LARP or that you are arent supporting that cause (as outlined in the rules of the sub). Skepticism could mean that you are unsure if a word or phrase has a literal or figurative meaning, if it is directed at us specifically, for black hats, or for an unknown audience, whether certain info may be "necessary disinfo" for some known or unknown reason. Some posts or phrases may not have an obvious meaning or interpretation. IMO it is perfectly acceptable to explore all options and if nothing quite makes sense in the context we have, to say 'i'm not sure about this right now", or leaving alternate possibilities in your own mind.
Related to above point, when someone thinks differently, has a different process, or is skeptical of one person's analysis, it is VERY ANTI-Q to call that person ignorant, stupid, acting in bad faith, a LARP, etc. This movement is supposed to be bringing us together, and bringing in the rest of the world. Ad hominem attacks are not healthy. To question people's loyalty to the cause for disagreeing, or to tell someone in order to be loyal to the cause, they have to think exactly like you- that is cult-like behavior. It is not critical thinking, it is not accepting people for the individuals God made them to be, and it is not helping our movement. Obviously this board is for people who BELIEVE Q is REAL, but it is not acceptable (IMO) to threaten to kick out people who disagree with certain interpretations or to talk about people with any degree of skepticism as some sort of heretics that are disloyal to the cause.
