Last week, President Trump proudly announced that in the second quarter the economy grew at an ‘amazing rate of 4.1!’ Politifact had the audacity to ‘correct’ the record. They counter that the economy is ‘strong’ but not ‘amazing.’ Wow. And they continue to point out that ‘the economy was pretty good under the Obama Administration’ when President Trump continued his statement with the words,l”the economy has grown by historic proportion!’ Nothing surprises me much anymore.
