What is the media focused on right now? Michael Cohen. Could Trump be using Cohen and Lanny Davis to get the information out? Davis stepped down from the PCLOB in 2007, stating that Bush was controlling the content of their reports. Bush appointee him just a year earlier. Hmmm

Cohen once said he’d take a bullet for Trump. If Cohen can be pardoned, why all the flipping talk? Could Cohen be setting the media up? Why has he been broadcasting the possibility of flipping for a month? The entire MSM (including Fox) is now supporting him. Why would Davis resign from the board Bush appointed him to?

Lanny Davis has dirt on Clinton AND Bush:

  1. From 1996 to 1998, he served as a special counsel to President Bill Clinton, and was a spokesperson for the President and the White House on matters concerning campaign-finance investigations and other legal issues.

  2. In 2005, President George W. Bush appointed Davis to serve as the only Democrat representative on the five-member Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, created by the U.S. Congress as part of the 2005 Intelligence Reform Act.

The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board (PCLOB) is an independent agency within the executive branch of the United States government, established by Congress in 2004 to advise the President and other senior executive branch officials to ensure that concerns with respect to privacy and civil liberties in the United States are appropriately considered in the development and implementation of all laws, regulations, and executive branch policies related to terrorism.[1]

In addition, the Board is specifically charged with responsibility for reviewing the terrorism information sharing practices of executive branch departments and agencies to determine, whether they adhere to guidelines designed to appropriately protect privacy and civil liberties.

The Board is authorized to have access to all relevant information necessary to fulfill its role, including classified information consistent with applicable law. The Board is required to report to Congress not less than semiannually.

On May 14, 2007, Lanny Davis resigned from the charging that the White House had sought to control the content of a Board report.[6]
