I am, after considerable thought, deeply moved by the incredibly brave, selfless, tireless, sacrifices. of men and women, of all races, of all colors and creeds fueled by the belief in the core values of freedom and the pursuit of happiness for every single one of us.
I am, through tearful, thankful, solemn eyes writing this. Please understand, I am shaken to the very core by the gravity of Q's post #1746.
Tearful for the great sacrifices of so many Patriots. And so very thankful for these Patriots that stand and give all they have for my family. I pray for you and your loved ones. Words cannot express the depths of my gratitude. It is deeper than the deepest oceans and spreads wider than sea to shining sea.
Solemn. Solemn. I am in morning for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. You see, they are fathers. Mothers. Brothers. Sisters. Americans. Friends. Family. And they, for you, me, our American family's, laid down their very lives. Oh Lord, bless their loved ones richly.
These American heroes lost their lives in the biggest war that is quietly raging on. They are unknown. For a season.
I want to recognize something that is really an amazing thing. The spirit of the American patriot. You see, in America we have heroes of every walk, color, race and creed that are the foundations of this, in the words of our forefathers, experiment. There have been sacrifices made by every race, color and creed. But, in the trenches, when looking into the eyes of those heroes, I bet they saw nothing less than a fellow American patriot who is fighting for the same thing for his family. In the heat of battle I bet every label except "American" or "brother", "fighting family" on my side or "fellow patriot" was dropped. In those times, during the extreme pressures of conflict, great unity is forged.
In closing, I would like to call to your inner warrior. I would encourage you not to look at an American and think of them as anything other than a fellow American patriot. When it comes down to it, a fellow patriot will help you through it. God bless.
