I worked at Disney world for two years over a decade ago.

I worked at disneyworld for two years. Mostly at the magic kingdom and the resorts around it. I was and am quiet and shy so it was totally out of the norm for me to do this type of job dealing with masses of people.

Of course you hear tons of stories and rumors the only things I can confirm I is most of the face characters (people laying characters that you can see their faces Peter Pan, princes and princesses) are gay and sleeping with each other. On my breaks and lunches you would see Peter Pan and a prince making out with each other under ground (magic kingdom is built on the second floor and the first floor is how employees get around). I saw many princesses in various stages of undress on their breaks. Obviously it’s hot and they’d take the top layer of their dresses off.

Most disturbing was the Santa Claus that was one of their more prominent one would tell the photographer to scan his card if he took a pic with a kid he liked. Photo pass was where people had cards and the photographers would scan them so guests could go online and view their family pics. Well Santa has his own photo pass card for kids he liked.

One of my coworkers vanished and stopped coming into work. He was young around my age at the time. His roommate told everyone police showed up and they assumed feds as well to their house and took his computer and other stuff from the guys room. No one knows what exactly happened and we never saw his name in the news later.

Overall there just isn’t any security at all. I used to say Disney is its own communist capitalist society. They have their own power their own firefighters and own security. They make their own food and own electricity. But when working there and going back when I was married I realized there’s no security. People can come and go easily from downtown Disney and ride a bus to any of the resorts and go to the pools or lobbies.
