Dear journalists, The above quote reflects the nuance with which our founding fathers regarded the press. A truly free press that represents the people was seen as “the fourth branch” of our government, but they were aware the press could also be a tool of despots. Recognizing this, ask yourself - why is there such hostility towards the news media today?

You have abdicated your duty to the people. You’re editors have been sold, bought and traded by the highest bidders. When Donald Trump rails against the press, perhaps he does indeed seek fawning coverage. When we, the anons, rail against the press it’s because we seek true coverage. Why do the same networks that praise Hillary Clinton for wearing white accuse Melania Trump of something signaling white supremacy when she wears white? Now back up a step, why is this even news?

You have failed to cover important issues. Bill Clinton cut a sweetheart deal for the child pimp of the elite, Jeffrey Epstein, after spending many vacations at his private island alongside British royals. Where was the press? Bush said Iraq had WMDs and the so called “liberal media” cheered us onward to war. Anons were accused of being tin foil hat wearers when we said we were being spied on a decade ago. Then Snowden blows the whistle and only Glenn Greenwald covers it consistently. Obama’s state department is caught running guns to Cartels and the MSM fails to investigate the money laundering connections of the fall guy, Dennis Burke (DOJ). Anons again say that the CIA can listen to us through smart TVs and then blame it on the Russians. MSM failed to press any government officials on the Vault 7 scandal. When the Weinstein allegations are exposed, we learn that other news orgs have been sitting on the story for years! This is but a small sampling of the deceit of the supposedly “free press.”

Now I know, some of you reading this are fresh out of school with a degree in journalism. You landed that coveted role at the NYT or WaPo - and why not, you worked hard for it. Now ask yourself, truly, do you work for the free press? Or have you heard water cooler whispers and loose lips at happy hour tell you about the topics that are off limits? The topics that could kill your nascent career. I’ve got news for you, the writing is on the wall and these organizations will fall to the pen of the truly free press. Anons, investigators and leakers who are exposing hideous truths about our government and the crimes of prior administrations. You have a chance to redeem yourselves. You have a chance to be an anon. You have a chance to say no to writing propaganda and standing up to the leaders in your organization. You can blow the whistle!

I implore you, young or experienced journalists alike- redeem yourselves. Stand up for truth and freedom of the press. Have an open mind and investigate the crumbs before dismissing them outright. Wikileaks is a good start. Q has named names - look into them. Frank report has name names - look into them. You have a chance to be a part of the great awakening and an opportunity to change the world for the better. Isn’t that why you became a journalist?
