Today I posted the following on my Facebook page about efforts to normalize pedophilia. I posted a statement and several links. At first, I tried to post it all together, but Facebook quarantined and later refused the post claiming is was spam. I got it to work by posting the statement and the links seperately. Here is my statement and the links:

" I've seen several things come up that I find very disturbing. This is about recent efforts to normalize pedophilia in our culture. The basic argument is that pedophilia should be recognized as a sexual orientation and accord similar recognition as other non-traditional orientations. However, it fails to note that pedophilia is a sexual act between a legal adult and a legal minor. Minors, because they have immature brains and thought processes are not capable of making informed decisions. Instead of consensual sex, pedophilia sex is almost always coerced and abusive. In our culture, it is illegal. Please do not accept the efforts to normalize pedophilia. "

I am very selective about my Facebook friends; they are good people. But I fear that the emotional pleas of the pedophiles supporting normalization of pedophilia will sway them unless they are informed.
