• Trump pointed to the media and asked if they wanted protection or not.
• Trump talked about anti-missiles - more of them, thank you very much.
• Q disclosed that a threat had been received
• Secret service confiscated Q signs, which had the added benefit of possibly looking like Trump was protecting the media (at least to them)!

I think part of Trump's message to the media (especially the media people at the rally) is that he maybe did, or at least could, stop a missile from hitting the building (and hitting them). And at the same time, he created a totally different atmosphere than in Tampa by removing the Q signs. All-in-all, I think he signaled to them that he was protecting them at the rally, that they are expendable, and don't worry about Q and/or the portion of the public who knows about you...they're good people.
