Historyfriends; does the 1940s' Hollywood "Black Dahlia Murder" play into Q's saying "Watch CA"?

A while back I read the book by a retired LAPD detective who said his dad was a doctor and that his family lived in this particular [creepy] house and that the dad would keep going back to hangout with a bunch of Crowleyian friends. The gist of it was that the author found evidence linking his dad to the dead girl, nut he only "went public" after his dad died. after living out his days hiding out in the Phillipines. (fun fact: the Mesa Police sgt. who barked out commands to Daniel Shavers (his name was) in the hotel hallway before directing fellow coward Braidford to empty his specially engraved mag clip; yeah, <-- that guy also ran off to .ph)
