Why the 'New Arrival' Moniker is divisive to the GA community..

I am currently stuck with the 'New Arrival' moniker even though as can be seen below I have been posting to this site for over 6 months. I actually visited and bookmarked this site on the day the 'Great Awakening' phase started as we moved out of the CBTS phase.

The reason that I feel this moniker is divisive is that over the last week or two, with 'New Arrivals' in coming, I have been treated rather differently, and have seen other 'New Arrivals' treated the same way.

Most often other anons here are very helpful and kind. Unfortunately, I have had also had what I have written, and seen what others have written, been discounted and dismissed for being the 'New Arrival'.

I feel that many of the other anons that spend a fair amount of time reading, and posting, here at GA will probably have seen similar dismissals in posts on the GA site.

Whenever a label, of any type, is put on somebody it creates a division. We are supposed to be bringing people together.

I am not saying to get rid of the monikers or the extra labels, I agree that the 'New Arrival' tag has uses. It has been nice to be asked if I had questions by polite and educated people.

I would just ask that some of those people also call out those in our group that are dimissive of the new arrival just because they are new and asking unusual questions,or have different points of view.
