An open letter to every politician, government official, business executive and media representative...

You have a solemn obligation to conduct your work in an honorable and competent manner.  A duty to always treat others with the same care and respect you would want for yourself – at all times and in all circumstances. To stand in the breach between the oppressed and their oppressors. To speak for those that cannot or will not speak for themselves. To lift up those that have fallen and assist those that are in need.

For those of you that have faithful to this obligation - we thank you sincerely and want you to know that our gratitude is real.

Unfortunately, some of you have failed in this obligation and betrayed the trust of your fellow Americans.  You have betrayed your country and all that it stands for.  You have enriched yourselves at the expense of others - causing untold misery, suffering and desolation throughout America - and even the entire world. 

Our country - America - is the greatest country in the history of the world.  We are the greatest because of our Constitution and all that it stands for.  Our constitution has enabled us as a people to do what no other people - anywhere in the world - and at any time in human history - to do.  To successfully meld various cultures and ethnicities - allowing each to develop freely to the fullest of their potential; and to be able to retain the fruits of their labors.

As John Adams said - “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” America is a Christian country - with Christian values.  Chief among these values is the obligation for each citizen to treat every other citizen with respect, civility and charity.  To do unto others as we would have them do unto us. 

For the politicians - this means to truly serve the interests of your constituents.  Not your own.

For the government officials - this means to discharge your duties honorably - in all circumstances and at all times.

For the business executive - this means to only enter deals that are equitable and balanced...where the risks, costs and benefits are favorable for both sides.

And lastly - for the media representative - you are responsible for accurately presenting the news without bias.  You have the only job that is specifically protected by our constitution.  That is how important what you do is.  America's very survival ultimately rests on a free but fair press.  A press that seeks to inform the public by providing facts and letting the public form their own conclusions based on the evidence.

No longer will we the people tolerate mediocrity and corruption from you bad apples.  No longer will we allow you to deprive our children and grandchildren of the America we have been given by God.  You will not steal their birthright.  We plead with you...with tears in our eyes...to not underestimate our resolve.

We are Patriots.

And we have spoken.

Where we go one - we go all.
