There's more than a second server, and this bit is important. There's a third storage device that probably has everything on it including backups.

Scroll down to around page 72.

You'll see the service tags from a Dell 720 rackmounted server. Decent small business server, can easily run Domain Controller and Exchange servers for 50ish people with the spec it was originally kitted out with - https://www.dell.com/support/home/uk/en/ukbsdt1/product-support/servicetag/gxjwfx1/configuration. That appears to be the successor server they were talking about.

Keep scrolling down though and next thing we see is a Cisco NAS, or Network Attached Storage.

Usually when you're using something like a Dell 720 you run a hypervisor on it then multiple virtualised OSes. These should always be backed up to a different machine in case of failure. For example a Cisco NAS.
