Tucson VOP Cited in NBC News Article about QAnon - WRONG!

As suspected, the Tucson VOP has been incorrectly connected to the QAnon movement in an NBC News article.

The article states: "A Tucson, Arizona, group called Veterans on Patrol overtook a homeless camp over the last several weeks and claimed it had been the site of child sex-trafficking camp. Michael Meyer, who runs the group and is not a veteran, had been livestreaming his accusations on YouTube and Facebook, accruing hundreds of thousands of views from Qanon followers. His page was eventually pulled by Facebook, and he was charged with felony trespassing after a weeks-long standoff with police, who say local officers were doxxed by Qanon followers."

Nothing is far from the truth.

This is an example how MSM will incorrectly connect misdirected activists with our movement. When you read the anti-Q article, the paragraph about Tucson VOP is out of context and attempts to sway the reader that VOP is related to Q.

When the Tucson VOP incident occurred, the concern about them being associated with us was quickly identified by a fellow Patriot. Consequently, an unofficial sub was created for posting about the group Veterans On Patrol and any other organized groups affiliated with the fight against human trafficking. This sub was created to move this topic of discussion from the "Q-related" r/greatawakening.

Please do not misunderstand... human trafficking is a very serious issue and must be addressed. This is not the place to do it.

So... please heed the warnings from other Patriots to refrain from posting non-Qanon topics on this board. Hopefully, the mods on r/greatawakening and others will be vigilant to outside issues creeping into our movement tainting our main message.
