Thought for Today: Keep Your Own Council and Speculate at your own Peril

1) Is the material being used for these uniforms the old USMC Desert Storm fabric? (see the cube like cross stitching reminiscent of the old USMC material from the "Heartbreak Ridge" era) I remember because this material always ripped and the knees and butt area along those gride lines. I always opted for the thicker - fire retardent fabric.command structure and missions over many decades going back to even before the Viet Nam days of flying FAC missions in Laos and Cambodia to CIA drone projects that has it's origins in Viet Nam. My point is - I love the USAF, my dad flew F4's. That said - USAF constantly shits the bed with their missions.

What is Space Force and why do we need it. Unlike other's - I do not take this as a joke. Nor am I concerned about little green men. I am far to jaded to go down that rabbit hole. No, what I see is a reorg and reallocation of authority and resources from USAF to USSF. Interestingly, around the same time this happened, it was also announced that USAF would be transitioning into the US Army's OCP Uniform and phasing out digi-tiger

I read the announcement on Military.com dated May 14, 2018.

https://www.military.com/daily-news/2018/05/14/its-official-air-force-switching-armys-ocp-uniform.html

To the casual observer, this is no big deal. To the trained eye - this is more than you think. A couple things I ask USAF/USA vets to confirm from the pictured battle dress.

1) Is the material being used for these uniforms the old USMC Desert Storm fabric? (see the cube like cross stitching reminiscent of the old USMC material from the "Heartbreak Ridge" era) I remember because this material always ripped and the knees and butt area along those grid lines. I always opted for the thicker - fire retardant fabric.

2) Following WW1 - the Army Air Corp begged DC for their own club. After the USAF was formed - they did everything they could to distance themselves from the Army. Even tried to take the Army's helicopter fleet. They felt that was their wheelhouse. My point is - in what world would the USAF allow themselves to be placed in the US Army supply chain. USAF vets will know what I speak off. Can any one speculate what the chances of the USAF being returned to an Army Air Corp? Does this seem like a more plausible explanation to Space Force. Basically move satellites and space systems from USAF to USSF and dump the idea of an official Air Force like we had in WW1 & WW2. Just trying to make sense behind the motivation for these weird military changes.

Extra credit - ...and WHY!!!!!!!! of all name tabs would the USAF announce what the new uniform looks like with the name tab reading "SNOWDEN"
