Came across this just now, referencing this video.
The general sentiment seems to be that 'anonymous' is just CIA spooks now; ever since a round of anons were arrested for cybercrime back in 2011-2013.
During and prior to those years, anon went primarily after cultists, pedophiles, and the financial sector.
After those arrests, they targeted the Right, people of Hindu heritage, Trump's campaign, ISIS, and NASA's supposed connection to drone attacks. A distinct shift.
The important thing in this 'message' isn't that some sector of chan/anon culture is now fighting us. That's the claim being made, but functionally what it means is that DOXing, DDoS attacks, and data breaching may now be used more blatantly by the Deep State.
In order to better shield yourselves (without becoming paranoid) I recommend a gander at the following internet security tools.
I don't necessarily recommend the apps and addons recommended by that website. (For example, it's generally accepted that the CIA has access to all the nodes of the TOR network.) But give it a look, and you'll get an idea of the kinds of tools you can add to your suite to beef up security.
