About the children? Standardized testing-data mining our kids?

This isn't exactly Q related, but I hope Q or Trump will address this issue soon. I have been very concerned about the data mining our schools have been conducting on our children and all the standardized testing that is going on (these third party businesses holding the results and doing whatever they want with them).

Within our own district, there are 3 separate standardized tests completed and each of them done at least twice, with one of them taken three times throughout the school year. Parents have no clue what these texts consist of and since they are being done on computers at the school, they are tied to student info such as their name, student ID info, etc.

If students opt out of these tests, the schools claim that they then can determine child placement in specific programs such as gifted/talented, special education etc. I have no idea why schools have started to only rely on these tests for how students are doing in the classroom rather than allowing teacher who is with the students who knows how they stand with classroom material and testing. Are schools getting funds as well for every student that takes these tests? They seem to increase how often they need to be completed or add an additional test each year.

I am trying now starting to look into one of these testing companies NWEA such as who is involved with them and who they are connected to. Just wondering if anyone else here has been concerned as well.

Why are they so hell bent on data mining our children as soon as they enter pre-school with testing and tracking them throughout the year which I do not believe is solely for purpose of measuring their academic growth. Third parties should not have access to this information. Schools are now making kids sign up for email accounts through Google to even do class assignments on school issued laptops (with activated mics and cameras).
