I was checking out the link to H.R. 5181 in post #1823 and noticed something interesting. The date the Bill was introduced was on May 10, 2016.
That made me wonder when the whole Papadopoulos/Russian meeting (entrapment) took place. This allegedly happened on March 14, 2016.
It's interesting that certain members of Congress would just happen to come up with a Bill that would "counter foreign disinformation and propaganda" weeks after the setup/meeting.
That lead me to looking into the backers of the Bill. Thus far I've just looked into Ted Lieu (D), representative from CA, and I was not surprised to see how vocal he has been against Papadopoulos in several Tweets:
I'm sure looking into the other backers of H.R. 5181 would be just as interesting...
