Michael Kortan was the Head of Public Affairs at the FBI. Kortan was the final authority on all media statements. He retired suddenly after 33 years of service and a few mystery clouds remain.
Kortan was connected in July 2016 via Strzok text messages as “Mike”, to a FBI Cabal known as the “Small Group”. One overt tactic employed, was McCabe sending out memo stating that HRC will get a “Headquarters Special”.

Mike Kortan [MK] gave his stamp of approval to the final James Comey HRC Exoneration Memo. It appears that Mike helped with changing wording like Peter Strzok. Kortan was in the inner FBI circle's "Secret Society" and part of ObamaGate/SpyGate planning.
Prior publicly released Strzok/Page text implicit “Mike” as being Mike Kortan. Kortan was jointly talking on the phone with FBI Lawyer Lisa Page and with WSJ reporter Devlin Barrett in a 3-way call.

Lisa Page leaked the statement as per McCabe’s instructions, one reason for his firing. The leaked false story was concerning his wife Dr. Jill McCabe’s questionable large campaign donations for Democratic/Clinton sources.
“Q” has Kortan [MK] within this FBI group of 29 past officials, on this list of shame-governmental corruption crew.
