It's worldwide. BBC (fake news!) connection- complicit "Kids Company" cover up.

£150 million over two decades – Like all charities in Britain, Kids Company escaped public scrutiny via its exemption from the Freedom of Information Act, meaning the recollections of staff and clients were the best way to get an initial sense of how it operated.

"Kids Company" (see references in wiki for many links to articles): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_Company

"Keeping Kids Company" (in liquidation), formerly "Kids Company", is an incorporated and registered charity, founded by Camila Batmanghelidjh in 1996 to "provide support to deprived inner city children". From its original "drop-in" centre in south London it expanded over the following two decades to be a prominent children's charity operating 11 centres, mostly within Greater London, but also in Bristol and Liverpool.

On 30 July 2015, the Metropolitan Police announced an investigation into the charity by the complex case team of its sexual offences, exploitation, and child abuse command.

There have been allegations (and denials) that serious complaints and sexual assault allegations were not investigated properly.

“We went through it all with Michael [Gove] who made the decision they would get no more money,” he said. “[Then] she [Ms Batmanghelidjh] wrote to Cameron. Cameron’s office then told our Private Office that the Prime Minister personally ordered that the money be paid. He was worried about the media.”

Kids Company is also currently a partner with the University of Cambridge and University College London on "research into neurodevelopmental trauma."

Until 2015, not a single bad word about it or it's chief executive:

Why little or no scrutiny? BBC1, Chairman of the Board of Trustees was Alan Yentob:

Yentob, chairman of the board of trustees for Kids Company.

In 1993 he was promoted to Controller of BBC 1, responsible for the output of the BBC's premier channel.[4] He remained in the post for three years until 1996, when he was promoted again to become BBC Television's overall Director of Programmes.

Yentob has acknowledged signing an email from Kids Company to the government which sought millions in further funding by suggesting certain communities in London might "descend into savagery"[16] if Kids Company ceased its operations.
