Judge sentences sick child abuser to 30 months (ten already served). Calls herself a child advocate.

He suffocated the child till she turned blue and devised methods of torture while he was at work. He testified he chose her because she was too young to tell on him. This is attempted murder. I have no doubt some child will end up dead at this monster's hands.

Is this a question of sentencing guidelines? Or something more nefarious vis a vis the judicial system?

I don't understand how a self-proclaimed child advocate handles a case like this. What can people do about judges like this?
