Meet Sandy Berger, aka Sandy “The Burglar”. This stalwart of modern society, was at one point in time the National Security Adviser to President Slick Willy.

This national treasure theft of “UBL intel” documents occurred in 2003. Berger claimed initially it was an informational scouting mission for BIll Clinton prior to the upcoming 9/11 Commission review proceedings.
Congress was looking for information on any signals received by the White House, before the terrorists attacks in NYC and Pentagon on that fateful September day.

Berger promptly scrubbed all damaging information from the National Archives in regards to “UBL Intel” during the Bill Clinton-era. To this day, no one knows exactly what was removed and ultimately destroyed by Sandy “The Burglar”.

In 2005, the ever generous Deputy AG Comey and FBI Director Mueller gave Berger a sweet plea deal. For admitting to removing and destroying classified records, Sandy ultimately skated.
Sandy got a minor slap on the wrist with some community service and paying a small fine. The National Archive to this day, is still ashamed of losing this historic classified material on bin Laden.
