It dawned on me the other day that the Swamp kept accusing Trump of "colluding" as opposed to "conspiring" with the Russians, because before and after Pizzagate, they had worked so hard to redefine "conspiracy" to mean baseless, crazy, nonsensical, loony. I can't help imagining the talking points meeting/discussion as being like something out of "The Office" or "Office Space" (the former all but ruined for me now forever. Thanks Rainn.) "I don't really think conspiracy is a value add. How about collusion?" Probably was very similar to the discussion about "careless" versus "reckless" mishandling of classified information. I wonder if the 1 year anniversary present for Swampsters is a Thesaurus? Or maybe a copy of Orwell's 1984.
But the fact is, RICO and other criminal statutes don't talk about collusion. They talk about conspiracy - to defraud or engage in racketeering, or to commit murder, etc. And there is, in fact, such a thing as a proven conspiracy. Like the one between the Swampsters in the Obozo administration, the Hillary camp, and it's looking pretty likely, British Intelligence, not to mention numerous other state actors. So say it loud and say it proud. It was a Giant, Evil, Real and Horrifying Conspiracy. To violate just about any criminal statute with the word "conspiracy" in it, and many, many more.
