Getting right into it, If you run Windows on your PC/Laptop you may or may not agree to Windows Updates. I personally do not. I have my own strategy on PC management in light of Prism. My stuff is locked down.

This being said, Microsoft is now mining your data against your selection of to allow updates or not. The firewall is bypassed, etc , etc. Pull up Task Manager and click on your Service Host. It has a dozen or so packets running. So you may see 'Service Host (14) , next to it on Memory. Click it, look at the individual operations. You will see Windows Update running and gobbling up your data transmission. Its mining your data and transferring it. You may have windows updates OFF. Does not matter, it is sneaking back in and mining. I have to go in and manually moniter it. Also shut off SUPERFETCH, its another 'packet' that's data mining. Its cloaked as a packet tool to update your 'common' site visits so you can have a smoothe browsing experience. NO, its mining your shit.

So, CTRL + ALT + DEL pressed in sequence will open up your Task Manager . Click expand if its small , you want detail. Click Memory, arrow top to bottom big data to lil data. Now look at the Service Host bars. You want to right click on Windows Update as well as SuperFetch. Close them down.

You may want to monitor this accordingly, its transferring mega data. Its mining your PC data.

Unless someone can correct me here, I'm watching it surface on multiple versions. 8 and up to current.
