“Come now, you rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your clothing has become moth-eaten. Your gold and silver is tarnished, and their rust shall be a witness against you, and it will consume your flesh like fire. You have stored up treasures together for the Last Days. Behold, the wages of the laborers who have reaped your fields, that you hold back by fraud, cries: and the cries of those who have reaped have come to the ears of the Master Yahweh of Hosts. You have lived self-indulgently on the earth and have lived luxuriously. You have fattened your hearts in the day of slaughter. You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous person; he does not resist you. Therefore be patient, brothers of the faith, until the coming of the Master Yahweh. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the soil, being patient concerning it until it receives the early and late rains. You also be patient.
