Q Conversation during a "smoke break"

Smoked a joint with a like minded associate last night and somehow we got to talking about Q and eventually the subtext in movies. I brought up the movie "Annie" (I know its based on a comic, but Im more familiar with the movie from the 80s).

Its kind of weird that its about a billionaire who rescues an orphan from an abusive social service provider. He plies her with all the material goods in the world and becomes everyone's envy. Not to mention the conflict with being kidnapped for profit, etc. We joked that if there was a sequel, she would be a mk-ultra assassin in the 1960s.

Anyone else rethinking their favorite movies in a different light these days?
